Having now been in Plattling for almost a whole week the whole squirt team is really starting to get the hang of the difficult eddyline here and clock up some pretty reasonable downtimes.  Great progress is also being made in the flat-water routines.  

Squirt athletes from a wide range of nations have now arrived and last night was the first official squirt practice slot which saw around twenty boaters take to the water to throw down some ends and do some sinking, whilst this was great fun for me having never previously seen so many squirt boaters in one place it was a little hectic cartwheels being thrown left, right and centre it was sometimes tricky to get back to the top of the eddy.  Luckily there were no injuries and everyone walked away smiling.

Competition prelims for squirt are on Tuesday morning and at the moment I am feeling pretty happy with my routine but there is still time for improvement.  At the moment its raining but hopefully the sun will come back soon
